Embark on an enriching literacy journey with our dynamic two-week summer program, “Hello, Literacy.” Designed for young learners, this full-day experience is led by certified reading interventionists with expertise in the Orton-Gillingham approach as well as skilled instructors affiliated with the University of Delaware’s English Language Institute. In the mornings, students will strengthen their reading and writing foundations, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, and comprehension to build confidence and prepare for the upcoming school year. Afternoons shift to honing receptive and expressive language skills through engaging activities and interactive games. To ensure each participant receives tailored support, we offer an optional placement assessment in July, helping to create a personalized plan for success in August.
